im tom (and if you havent noticed that already id be a tad worried).
erm, im studying sociology at salford, and im a first year so theyre not making us do any work... im in the anarchist federation, and i think i have been for the last 3 years.
erm erm, music... other than SB6, currently im listening to the new subhumans record, bit of the king blues, black flag, joy division, daniel orlick (reggae folk AND my band are supporting him in a few months so im quite excited about that), and then im also into a fair bit of more mainstream type stuff varying from tharctic monkeys, battles, dresden dolls, klaxons and muse. oh, and peggy sue and the pirates and random indie stuff. annnd, i need to listen to maggot brain once a day by funkadelic to keep myself in gear.
Hi I'm Ross. I have the misfortune of living in Harlow but I can't complain too much as I work as a computer games tester. Its not quite as good as it sounds but it is far better than any job I've done in the past.
My favourite bands include Finntroll, Streetlight Manifesto, Turisas, Opeth, The Loved Ones, To-Mera, Muramasa, Skull Candy and The Lawrence Arms. I also miss NoComply and Adequate Seven terribly.
I hate having to introduce myself, but for you guys I'll do it. I'm Becka, living in the arse end of nowhere in a shithole town called Lowestoft. It's great, really it is. The boxer guy on Big Brother comes from here - oooh. I can tell you're impressed already. Oh, and The Darkness come from here too, but that's more embarrassing than having a Big Brither contestant come from here!
Music, hmm.... New Town Kings, King Blues, Killa Kela, Example, The Whip, Metronomy, Dizzee Rascal, Deftones, Saul Williams, Pendulum, Rise Against, but my tastes change on a daily basis.
im mike i go city college in MANCHESTER!and i do a btec in music technology. I like punk/ska/dub/reggae/hip hop/grime/drum n bass (not commercial stuff like pendulum really)/trance/a bit of metal/rap metal. I guess thats why sonic boom six and baby boom are my favorite band coz they incorporate a lot of these style and do it sooo well!!! i seen sb6 bare times and they are possibly one of the best live acts ever! taking my lil bro to see em with reel big fish and streetlight for his first gig (hes only 12!) haha gunna be well fun!
Im a punk n hang about with all the manchester punks but its really boring being narrow minded. Some artists I love are sb6 n baby boom (obv) the varukers, the filaments, once over, dr dre, the specials, toots and the maytals, bob marley, exploited, the virus, tupac, akala, gorilla biscuits, burning the prospect, suicide bid and less than jake and other ska punk bands to name a few.
i play bass and guitar and looking to start a new band. (id wanna play bass though) playing ska and punk but taking influence from loads of things. if this sounds cool then talk to me.
I'm Chris as you can see and I'm 17. I'm doing the whole college ting at the moment, and trying to get into a uni somewhere so I can spend 3 years getting fucked before I have to be responsible and get a job.
I live in Medway in Kent, which is brilliant. Officially cited as the birthplace of the chav, but you've got to live somewhere. And there's some good pubs and clubs around, and Babar Luck comes here to play sometimes, which is always fuckin' brilliant.
Mostly I listen to drum&bass like Ed Rush, Black Sun Empire, Noisia, Photek, J Majik, that sort of thing, and a few free party DJs that haven't busted into the mainstream or been signed yet. Also a bit of tekno, reggae, ska, punk, trip hop and hip hop. And then the classics like Floyd and Zeppelin. I'm really loving The King Blues at the moment, and I've got plenty of respect for Modest Mouse.
I also sorely miss Adequate Seven and a local skapunk group that used to be called 3DBs down, then they changed to something else, and then they split up.
If you buy me a pint and give me a cigarette I'll be your mate for life.
I'm Jochem, and I think i'm gonna change my picture to blue-me.
Anyway, I saw sb6 5 times (or 6) times now, and in Delft we played a show with them. I study some technic bullcrap in Delft and have yet to see bands like: A Billion Ernies, Weightloss, Gogol Bordello, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones (they did a throwdown last year ), The Aquabats, Fanfare Ciacarlia, Bands that i did see: Voodoo Glow Skulls, Rx Bandits, Slackers, Big D and the Kids Table, Motion City Soundtrack, The Display Team, Aux Raus, The Planet Smashers, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and of course Sonic Boom Six
Mmm.. I'm Jazzii ha.. tad obvious. Ermm.. From Scarborough I loves SB6, second favourite, oh indeed! Meeted & Greeted at Scarborough, haaa. (Apparently Barney smelt really bad ? Ha)
