Weekend of gigs! SB6 for Rock Band 3!!

Indeed!

It was great to blow off the live cobwebs last weekend and rock a couple of festivals in Holland so we figured that this weekend, we'll do it again. But this time, the festivals aren't in The Netherlands, but in the Engerlands. And they're not really festivals. And one's in France. But they're going to be great anyway.

Hey guys

Hope all is well out there! After granting our Southern pals a free show last month to say thanks for all their support, it would certainly be remiss of us not to bestow you Northern Monkeys a similar token of our gratitude. PLEASE come and add yourself to the event. This is the place we can answer any questions and get an idea about how many to expect. The event is HERE.

Here's what Last.FM have to say on it all. We're 'genre-welders' apparently....

Genre-welding quintet Sonic Boom Six are set to play a FREE intimate hometown show for Last.fm Presents at the Roadhouse in Manchester. The pop/ska/rock/grime/metal band will release a new album this year and this show will see them playing old favourites and new songs alike. Welsh band Straight Lines support and between the two of them expect the Roadhouse to become a full-on sweatbox.

***Make sure you're down early as it is first come first served!***

Check out the artists on Last.fm:

SB6 in Simlish & WIN a copy of Sims 3 & Showtime! Boom Documentary Online!! Gigs, gigs and gigs!!!

Oi oi!

Well, it's been a while! We've been busy at work behind the scenes for the last few weeks, making sure our forthcoming album is going to hit you guys with a bang. We hope to have an announcement about the album in the next few weeks so stay tuned to this channel for that. In the meantime there have been several developments across the Boom horizon we thought we should push your hearts and minds towards.

First of all is that we are stoked to let you know that on the recently-released video game Sims 3 Showtime Expansion Pack, one of the songs featured is our very own 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture'. Or should that be 'Fooda Yibs Ooda Malti Kooshie?' You can hear this brand new version of our music on our YouTube account now, along with a video for the track that I lovingly put together from the exploits of Sonic Boom Six within the Sims 3 world. Yes, that's Laila! Just click below... Thanks to Electronic Arts for the games and opportunity to share the song with you guys on our YouTube. Click the image below or visit the video HERE.

For those of you who have no idea what is going on in the track I think that a brief lesson in Simlish is in order... in short, it's the language spoken by the characters in the Sims universe but we've done you the honours of a 'making of' video detailing the re-recording of the track so you can see what it was all about. Click the image below or visit the video HERE.

To go along with all this tomfoolery and to celebrate the release of the game, we've got 3 copies of the Sims 3 game WITH the Sims 3 Showtime Expansion Pack to giveaway (PC version). And it's even the ultra cool limited edition version with extra venues!

To enter this competition we want you guys to go on Paint (and it must be Windows paint or something equally basic) and do your best picture of Sonic Boom Six, or any member of Sonic Boom Six. Do it picture perfect or do it funny, it's up to you, just impress us. Send your digital image as an attachment over to sims3@sonicboomsix.co.uk We will decide the winner next Saturday (April 7th). And we'll definitely be showing them on Facebook! Happy doodling!

As well as the Sims stuff, there is another cool Boom video up online this weekend. Paul Atkinson and his crew joined us for our HMV Next Big Thing gig in London last month to film the show and make a little documentary about the show's significance and our plans and thoughts about the new album and SB6 going forward! 'Sonic Boom Six - New Style Rockas' has turned out to be a cool film at an important point of our history and is well worth a watch for any Boom fan. You can watch the video on YouTube but be sure to visit Paul's Facebook Event for the documentary and leave some feedback HERE. Click below to check it out or go HERE.

OK, and onto what a lot of people have been asking about recently... gigs! We've got shows lined-up across the year and they're still coming in. As well as the addition of a few festivals we have a Last.fm presents gig at Manchester's The Roadhouse on the 19th April that's absolutely FREE to get it! That's not all, we're being supported by the awesome Straight Lines! Full details of that show will be up and about on here, Facebook and Twitter over the next couple of weeks but for now you can take a look at the concert page on Last FM HERE.

FREE SONIC BOOM SIX MUSIC FOR ALL! What's The Catch?! And Another Competition...

Hey you guys!

First things first, welcome to all the new members of the mailing list we've had over the last few weeks! Having a few competitions has really brought you guys in... good to have you aboard. Secondly, thanks to everyone who came to the show on Thursday night in Manchester. We played a lot of new material and everyone seemed to be suitably digging it and we were stoked with the response. Thank you to all at Sound Control especially Ben Taylor as well as Tonn Piper and James Kennedy. And big up to Raich Hype Photography for this keeper...

Right, onto the free stuff! Over the past week or so there has been a lot of debate raging about the SOPA issue (the US government's initiative to use the law to stamp out internet activity they deem unsuitable) not least on my Twitter. Whereas this forum probably isn't the place to get down and dirty with my opinions on the matter, let's just say that my viewpoint of it was a little less anti-SOPA than a lot of people might have expected. While I was brought round in terms of the greater issue after listening to you guys, I still feel that internet file-sharing is ultimately damaging TV, films and music. A few people took that to mean I was completely against copying and sharing music and pointed out that without copied music they would have never discovered Sonic Boom Six. Then, they argued, we've come to gigs and seen you and bought your t-shirts and all is well with the world. I agreed this was a good point!

So, in an effort not to be considered the Lars Ulrich of the UK rock scene, I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and give away our awesome acoustic Babyboom EP to every subscriber to this mailing list. The link to join the mailing list is HERE! Hope you guys enjoy the record as much as we enjoyed making it (in a barn, but that's another story).

So, where's the catch!? Well, there is none, but all I'm going to do is draw upon the words that have been bouncing at me after I grumbled about all the piracy of Sonic Boom Six records that goes on on sites like Megaupload. People have been saying that getting free music makes you more likely to come to a gig so now seems as good a time as any to point out that we have a few gigs lined up in the near future if you hadn't noticed... :)

This brings us to the London Show on February 9th. After all your support (thank you!) at the last London show we've now got a few very interested parties talking with us about new record and this is going to be the show that is really going to be the exclamation point in making it happen. We hate having to ask you guys to go that extra mile for us (as you did at the last show) but a full room of you guys going mental will make all the difference. If you can come, please do, a sell-out in advance will look great for us. If the Babyboom EP sounds good and it gets across how important these dates and this show is then hopefully you'll consider coming to the gig. We truly appreciate it. What's more, support is coming from the awesome Hildamay and Wonder Villians so this is a must-attend event. Get your tickets HERE ladies and gentlemen!

But that's not all. Right now it's worth noting now that the show in Leeds has been moved up to the Cockpit 2 so thank you guys, let's keep those ticket purchases coming! And, straight from the Facebook of Jagermeister with another awesome competition... "Want to see Sonic Boom Six with VIP tickets? You and three friends could win tickets for the show at The Birmingham Ballroom on 8th February with your own VIP area, a tour of backstage to see what really happens behind the scenes at a gig and some cool Jägermeister merchandise." You can enter the competition right now HERE.

Win FREE Boom tickets! Newcastle Show Added!! SB6 on Tumblr!!!

Hey guys

Just a quick one today but there's some significant things happening that bear repeating.

First things first, Jagermeister UK are running a competition on their Facebook page to win Boom tickets. SB6 are playing the Music Week 'Breakout' gig on Wed 11th Jan at Proud Galleries, Camden, London and they have got 4 pairs of tickets to give away. Click HERE to check out their Facebook page for the comp... and here's a picture of some Jagermeister skateboards, just because they're awesome.

Remember, even if you aren't lucky enough to be the winners, we have 50 tickets in stock and you can buy the tickets direct from us AND AVOID BOOKING FEE COMPLETELY. That's just £6 a ticket. Click HERE to grab a ticket and we will leave one on the door for you.

Next on the menu, thanks to you guys, we have managed to add a gig in Newcastle to make up for the debacle of the Sunderland show last tour. The show is at The Cluney on February 6th (apparently, it's gonna be awesomely intimate and sweaty... yay!) and the Facebook event is HERE. This is how those dates are looking right now...

Jan 11, 2012 - London, (UK) @ Proud Galleries - BREAKOUT in association with MUSIC WEEK
Feb 6, 2012 - Newcastle, (UK) @ Cluny - February 2012 Tour w/ Hildamay

Feb 12, 2012 - Norwich, (UK) @ Waterfront Studio - February 2012 Tour w/ Hildamay

Finally, I've moved my blog from the old blogspot jobby to a fresh new Tumblr. I've got a good bag of questions to get through but I always welcome more. I've just written a big old blog on the gear used on the new album and my thoughts on bass-playing and I'm definitely going to be on it with this blog because there's lots of pretty pictures flying about Tumblr-land to keep my attention. Also, I'll be re-blogging media, videos, articles and the most interesting Boom-stuff you send me so it promises to be a lot of fun.

Come and follow my Tumblr HERE.

Alrighty then!

Happy New Year! New Year's Honours!! Get SB6 Into The North East!!!

Well well well!

First of all, Happy New Year 2012!

For us, 2011 has been an awesome year. Starting with the release of 'New Style Rocka', across the summer festivals and into the autumn it became a year where we feel we've hit our stride again. We feel more excited about our new album than we did before releasing 'The Ruff Guide To Genre-Terrorism' and we are ready to own 2012. We had a ton of highlights including 'For the Kids of the Multiculture' being single of the week on Kerrang!, making it on to 4Music, Kerrang! and Scuzz TV and Laila singing with Ginger from The Wildhearts at Sonisphere and with The Mighty Mighty Bosstones at Reading Festival.

We've got the album recorded and it's ready to drop on you like the proverbial ton of bricks as soon as we can make it happen... and therein lies the rub. This is why it is so important that these next few gigs go off like a bomb. I know it's "that time of the year" but we haven't sold enough of our allocated £6 tickets for our Music Week Breakout show on January 11th at Proud, Camden to be sure that this gig is what it needs to be. I know you've got £20 off Auntie Margaret you're just dying to splurge on gig tickets. Come and make it so! We have 50 tickets in stock and you can buy the tickets direct from us AND AVOID BOOKING FEE COMPLETELY! That's just £6 a ticket! Click HERE to grab a ticket. I have to stress that ARTIE FUFKIN from POLYMER RECORDS and many of his friends are coming to the show. If you guys don't show up in full force, we're gonna have to kick his ass! Don't make us kick a guy's ass!!!

On the subject of the new year, we're truly honoured to be NUMBER ONE in Ska Vids Top 10 Videos of 2011 with our summer favourite 'Sunny Side Of The Street'. Thanks to the guys at Ska Vids and be sure to go and check out the rest of the Top 10 and 'LIKE' those guys HERE. Also, we've been lucky enough to win the 'SLOW BURNER 2011' award in Big Cheese! magazine, with the guys decreeing "with their new album ready to drop, just watch them own 2012".

In addition the forthcoming London dates and the February tour, we've been trying to sort out a show in the North East to make up for the show that got cancelled last tour due to the promoter bailing out. The good folks at Something Else Promotions are trying to make it happen for us. In their words... "We've been talking to the good folks at Primary Talent about booking SB6 for a Newcastle show. If we get enough support here it will definitely happen, to please share and help a DIY promoter in the North" Go and pledge your allegience to a Newcastle show at page on Facebook called SONIC BOOM SIX in Newcastle 2012 HERE.

Last buy not least, as I say, 2011 was a year of re-invention for 'The Boom'. And in the store right now we have the 2011 Singles Collection Boxset. Across these singles you can take the journey across this pivotal year starting with the dancefloor explosion of 'New Style Rocka' through to the summer festivals with 'Sunny Side of the Street' and finally to the forthcoming album's incendiary opening salvo 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture'. If 2012 is set to be the year of The Boom, then it was ignited by this little box of bangers and you can grab it HERE. AND there are still a limited number of exclusive hand-numbered screen-printed posters at our store if you spend over £20 (excluding P&P). Why not get rid of that Christmas money that's been burning a hole in your pocket?! If it's all gone, go and shake out your envelopes, you might have missed a tenner.

OK then, that's that. I hope we ALL have a wonderful 2012. My favourite record of the year was the new Crazy Arm album 'Union City Breath' and my favourite film was Drive. Best TV show was Breaking Bad. As ever, hit me up on Twitter at @sonicboomsix or email me on barney@sonicboomsix.co.uk if you wanna have a chinwag.

My favourite photo of the year was this...

BREAKOUT London Show January 2012! Support Us Getting Our Album Out!! Norwich Date Added!!!

Alright then!

Just when we thought we were gonna have a rest this January, Rock n Roll has come and dragged us back in! We're going to be playing BREAKOUT in association with MUSIC WEEK at Proud in Camden on 11th January 2012. As well as the HMV Next Big Thing show on February 7th, this show is a cornerstone in our campaign to get our new record out there. There's going to be a lot riding on these shows so having SB6 rocking in a room full of fans could make the difference between this record getting the crack of the whip it deserves or ending up being peddled from a shoe box in the back of a Fiesta. Let me say that we've appreciated your help so far in supporting our new material but the next six weeks are vital. Apart from all that, this should simply be a great show and only £6 entry. Here's the Facebook event and advance tickets are HERE.

We at sonicboomsix.co.uk have 50 tickets in stock and are doing a ticket special offer! Buy the tickets direct from us AND AVOID BOOKING FEE COMPLETELY! That's just £6 a ticket! Simply specify in the purchase whether you would like the ticket(s) to be sent via post (we'll pay postage) or left at the box office to be picked up on the night. Come and grab your ticket off us on our Breakout page HERE. It couldn't be easier...

Here's the blurb... "MUSIC WEEK in association with All Night Long Promotions presents BREAKOUT. Music industry bible Music Week is backing this new monthly night (every second Wednesday in the month) which will showcase music from the newly signed, current A&R buzz or most interesting acts likely to emerge in the next 12 months - tomorrow's stars today. January 11th show... KARIN PARK | SONIC BOOM SIX | FRANC CINELLI | PATRICK JAMES PEARSON | PAUL FREEMAN | PETER & KERRY | ALICE JEMIMA."

Speaking of awesome live bands on tour, we've added a date at Norwich Waterfront to our small run in early 2012. Norwich is always great and it's been quite a while so we're stoked. Support on ALL dates comes from the magnificent Hildamay and Norwich has the addition of the formidable 24 Robbers also on the billl.

Feb 12, 2012 - Norwich, (UK) @ Waterfront Studio - February 2012 Tour w/ Hildamay

And that, for now, is that! Thanks for the support and have an awesome Christmas and a Happy New Year if we don't speak sooner. Hope you've got all your shopping done. I did a load today but Mum and Granny Boom are still sans presents. There's always Christmas Eve I guess!

OK then!

First of all, a massive thanks to those who came down and partied at The Barfly gig on Friday. It was an awesome show and thanks to Chris McCormack and all at Jubilee Club for having us. You Camden crew were ruffneck rowdy as always and with your help at the show we've been able to take several steps towards the possibility of getting the new album out... but, in the spirit of doing so, we need to appeal for the presence of you mentalists once again! We're stoked to announce our first show of 2012 in the form of HMV's Next Big Thing...

On Thursday 9th Feb 2012 your friendly-neighbourhood Boom are headlining The Barfly for a run-down of new tracks from our forthcoming album as well as all the old favourites. As we said, we need you guys in the crowd giving it some to literally determine the future of The Boom.
'Kids' is Kerrang! Radio Single Of The Week! And Record Of The Day!! Wow!!!

Ello!

We're proud to announce that the folks at Kerrang! Radio have made 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' their Single of the Week. That means lots more plays for your friendly neighbourhood Boom and, just as importantly, it also means that our message of support for the concept and philosophy of multicultural Britain is getting some much needed airtime (just as well, considering some of the things being said on public transport these days...) But seriously, thanks to all those at the station and everyone whose support has made it possible, not least of all by going out there on social media and pushing forward messages of Boom support and solidarity. You can get involved in the Kerrang! Radio Facebook thread about the track HERE and check out everything Kerrang! Radio-related HERE.

Today we've also been posted as Record of the Day at mega-influential music industry site Recordoftheday.com You can check that out HERE.

A quick reminder about the show THIS FRIDAY at Jubilee Club Night in the Camden Barfly on the 2nd of December. This is a first-come-first-served Club Night AND WE WILL BE ON FIRST IN THE BAND LINE-UP AT 11:30PM. It's only £5 advance. Full details of the clubnight are on the Facebook event HERE. It should be a great fun night, tickets are HERE. I have noticed bits and bobs of consternation about booking fee being 3 quid. It isn't! It's £1 booking fee. Theres a £1.95 charge for postage but you can either print your own tickets or pick them up on the night at the door yo. So do that, unless you're Richie Rich.

The bill at the Tunbridge Wells Forum show on the 8th of December on our way out into Europe has changed slightly... we now have Together We Fight on the bill and you can check the show out on the new Facebook event HERE.
Last UK Tour Dates This Year! Germany Dates with The Broilers!!

What it is!

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat etc. Personally I'll be having a quorn roast thing for Christmas dinner but I can't say I'm fond of geese (especially fat ones) so you knock yourself out. My favourite part of Christmas dinner is when people say 'with all the trimmings'. You've got to have 'all the trimmings'. And as this year reaches its conclusion and you're all off work and college, excitedly running round toy shops making little circular viewing holes in the windows, we're gonna be slogging it out on a few more live dates...

First of all we've got a show at the Jubilee Club Night at the Camden Barfly on the 2nd of December. This is a first-come-first-served Club Night AND WE WILL BE ON FIRST IN THE BAND LINE-UP AT 11:30PM. It's a show where we need you guys, please come and support the Boom cause and make this show go with a bang! It's only £5 advance. Full details of the clubnight are on the Facebook event HERE. It should be a great fun night, tickets are HERE.

A lot of people have been asking about the new album. YES it's recorded. NO we don't know quite when it's coming out. Thanks for all the help from you guys in getting 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' out there and for the continued interest we've had from it. All I can say is that we would love to see you guys at these last couple of shows of the year and if you come down and rock out and make the gigs fantastic you may be subtly aiding and abetting our mission to get the record out there sooner rather than later. I'll leave it at that...

We've also got a show at the Tunbridge Wells Forum on December 8th. Also on the bill are one of my favourite UK bands at the mo Tyrannosaurus Alan along with The Dissociates and The 2,3,4s. You can check out those gig details HERE. Over on the mainland, we're hitting L'APPEL FESTIVAL, ROMONT on the 10th December in Switzerland. You can check the details HERE.

After that, we're stoked to announce that we'll be joining German punk heavyweights The Broilers for the December part of their "Welcome to Santa Muerte"-Tour 2011. This is a great opportunity for us over in Germany and The Broilers are a great band. They play to huge crowds over there so it's an honour to have been asked. We're going to pack our winter warms though, it's gonna be chilly!

Upcoming Shows:

Dec 2, 2011 - London, (UK) @ The Barfly - Jubilee Clubnight
Dec 8, 2011 - Royal Tunbridge Wells, (UK) @ The Forum w/ Tyranasaurus Alan
Dec 10, 2011 - Romont, FR (CH) @ L'APPEL FESTIVAL - L'APPEL FESTIVAL
Dec 14, 2011 - Kassel, (DE) @ Kulturfabrik Salzmann - The Broilers
Dec 15, 2011 - Berlin, (DE) @ Huxley’s Neue Welt - The Broilers
Dec 16, 2011 - Dortmund, (DE) @ Westfalenhallen Dortmund - The Broilers
Dec 17, 2011 - Köln, (DE) @ Stadtgarten - The Broilers

And that's that for now. Look out next week for the revelation of our recent secret recording goings-on, some great new shop offers for Christmas and maybe even a few more shows before the end of the year.

Until The Sunlight Comes...

SB6 on 4Music tonight! Tour Reviews and Vids abound!! & More!!!

Excellent!

Well, how's it going?! We're just resting up in Camp Boom after what has to be the best headline tour we've ever done. You guys were awesome and it was great to see so many fresh faces. I guess many of those faces have been brought in via our recent promotion to TV Channels around the country through the 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' video. Speaking of which, as well as being rocked on Kerrang! TV and Scuzz and others we've been added to the 4Music line-up, (alongside such luminaries and role models N-Dubz and Bruno Mars) which is amazing. You'd be really helping us out by going and letting them know whether it's a hit or a miss HERE.

You can catch our faces tonight on 4Music from 19:30 onwards on THE RADIO ROCK 20! This countdown features the 20 most played tracks on UK rock radio stations, right now. This is particularly exciting for me as 4Music is the chosen music channel at my barbers.

With the tour finished, we're going to be spending November off gigs, crossing the t's and dotting the i's to get our next single and album on their way. The tour was absolutely amazing and a few of the gigs have been filmed with splashes of documentary and footage and are being assembled as we speak. Thanks so much to Paul Atkinson and AtkinsonMedia, Josh Buckley and the ever-prolific Matt Fleming of Decode Film who caught the storming London Underworld Big Cheese 15th Birthday show. There's a cool review of the show by Midnight Mixtape HERE and from our friends at Bananatown HERE.

If the rush of the footage by Decode below is anything to go by, we should have some great vids...

As well as the radio and TV plays we've had some cool write-ups in the Scottish Sun, a nice 5K review in Kerrang! (that's the most Ks you can have but apparently Suicidal Tendencies once got six) and, my personal favourite, a lovely little print write-up from Justin Sane of Anti-Flag. It's cool when a band you've listened to and have influenced what you do take the time out to say something nice about you, check it out...

Across the tour, we also got some time to get a few interviews done, some of which are already online. This doozy from FemaleFirst is nice and in-depth about 'Kids Of The Multiculture' and other subjects (cheers Alistair) and you can read it HERE. There's also this interview with Songkick in their bands "on the road with" series HERE (thanks Sheryl). We also took the time out to do an acoustic version of 'Sunny Side Of The Street' backstage in Preston. You can check it out HERE. Cheers to Ed Barnes!

Remember, if you have any interviews, reviews etc that you want featuring on here that I may have missed, remember to email me and I'll pop them in an update.

Anyway, there's been bare shenanigans on YouTube, Twitter and Tumblr recently as more members of the great unhosed become aware of the magnitude of the feast we're bringing to the table. As I've always contended, we're too orangey for crows, which has been the source of some hilarious back-and-forths on the grunternad over the last few weeks. While the comments on the YouTube video for 'Kids' may induce sinking-stomachs at some of the people we share our country with (and, the debate rages on, go and stick your oar in HERE) the debate elsewhere has been of an altogether more light-hearted nature. It has culminated in the picture below. If that looks like something you want to get involved in, come and follow us on Twitter HERE and you can always rock over to The Facebook page HERE.

Over the next few weeks I'm gonna be sorting a Tumblr of our very own and answer the blog questions you guys have sent over to me. Any questions for me, as ever, call the crib, same number, same hood, it's all good. Well, email me at least. barney@sonicboomsix.co.uk

As ever, there is more news coming with big tings happening in Germany for us and a super top-secret project that's going to be a lot of fun if it comes off! Speak soon!

Until The Sunlight Comes...

Barney x

p.s. There is a worthy event in the Contact Theatre, Manchester 8th November, check it out HERE. Its for the SOPHIE Foundation who are doing great things in the name of the memory of teenager Sophie Lancaster. Click through and read and, if you're in Manchester, hopefully see you there!

For The Kids Of The Multiculture (Live at N4LOVESU)

Hey People.

Just a quick one today, I hope everybody has been enjoying the tour dates so far! On Saturday September 3rd Sonic Boom Six took part in the N4 LOVE U Northern Quarter Street Party! Here is the low down straight from the guys that made it happen... "Following the recent riots affecting our city, Manchester has come together to show the world we are proud and united in our love of the city. The extensive I Love MCR campaign has organised 3 weeks of events across the city for people to show their love for Manchester. As part of the campaign the businesses of the Northern Quarter have come together to bring you the N4 LOVES YOU festival. On the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of September, we are brining the party to the streets of the Northern Quarter. From Midday until 9pm, Thomas Street, Edge Street, Tib Street and Copperas Street will be closed for one big party!"

And one big party was had! Our friends at Trifecta Films captured our set, the party and, fittingly, we've put it together with the live 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' to remember the day by... enjoy!

You can see the video HERE.

Remember, you can still see the promo video and get involved in the debate for 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' HERE.

Sunderland Show Cancelled! & More.

Hey guys

We regret to have to inform you guys that the show in Sunderland this Sunday 16th October has been cancelled. This is neither due to us nor the venue but due to the fact that the promoter has basically disappeared. We'll take the high road and abstain from putting out his name and email on here to see if you can make contact yourselves but believe me we considered it! We're absolutely gutted to have to cancel a show but there is no other way around it for us. Refunds are going to be given to those who have bought tickets in advance and, once again, we're sorry about this. We'll be back in the North East next year and we'll make it up to you guys.

Derby and Leicester shows have been great, Manchester tonight should be amazing.

On a lighter note, we've been featured in the Ones 2 Watch in the Scottish version of The Sun. If you can get a copy, I recommend reading it for the wonder of seeing an article on SB6 written in 100% genuine tabloid format with BOLD words like Energetic and followed by a sentence then a sentence in italics. "They are three albums deep, but it’s only now that they’re troubling TV and radio stations. And current single For The Kids Of The Multiculture is the reason." Cheers to Chris Sweeney for the interview, it was fun!

Sorry again about the Sunderland show guys. Hopefully see you sooner rather than later!

Until The Sunlight Comes...

The video for 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' has had over 8000 views in total already, come and check it out HERE. The comments section has become something of a hotbed for political debate with people on both sides of the pro and con mulitcultural Britain spectrum having their say. To be honest, I'd personally like to see a bit more support for the sentiment of the song over there so if you feel strongly about the positive elements of multicultural Britain, please come and stick your oar in. YouTube comments are an unlikely forum for intelligent debate but a good message, well-put, can be a geneuine source of change. SPEAK YOUR BRAINS!
