Reviews of our magnum opus City of Thieves are beginning to dribble in from various crannies of the interweb. The good, good folk at Punktastic.com win the golden hat award for first review of the album online. And, crikey, they've only gorn an give it foive aghta foive! OK lets get this straight, I know what you're thinking and what they've been saying. Yep, I've heard it a thousand times, especially from those pen pushers down at City Hall. 'Sonic Boom Six are all well and good but they are just miming to a backing track really, put them in a real situation like a SHOP and they fall apart'. Well, a lot of people don't know that we're as brilliant with acoustic instruments as we are with electric guitars and samplers and things like that. To prove this once and for all, we're going to do some acoustic shows then we can put this whole thing to bed. It's smaller than a mini-tour, it's actually a micro-tour. We're going to be in the following places with acoustic instruments, making beautiful, natural sounds. We may even sing IN HARMONY if the instruction book arrives in time...
(NOTE FROM NEIL...) More to follow in selected towns during the May tour. Please bring warm clothes, alchohol and and gifts. And to the Manchester one, bring a partying spirit and a passport and alibi because it will be a partay.

OK then. Whilst absconded in his house like a hermit, Ben has gone and put together another video for 'Through the Eyes of a Child'. Our productivity knows no bounds right now. Total Film magazine commented 'whilst lacking the bravado and kinetic energy of his classic debut, Ben's contemporary opus see's a newfound connection with the lyrical themes and a growing sense of confidence behind the camera that, at times, borders on playful'. With all new records comes new merch. And this record is no exception. We've got a whole host of spanking new shizzle over at the SB6 STORE. We've got new t-shirts, zip-up hoodies, caps and all that. There may be a Credit Crunch, but what you have to realise is that it isn't a Credit Crush. And you only stop spending at that point. So spend away, you'll be the envy of your peers. And for the young new raver types, we have some gnarly colours in the t-shirts.
