6/5/10 - Back in the US of A!

Ay yo!

It's 08:58 AM over here in Los Angeles as I type! We touched down late yesterday evening, grabbed some Mexican grub and then some sleep and prepared ourselves for a great US tour with Knock-Out. First of all, I need to make some apologies for the fact that last nights show in Las Vegas had to be pulled due to plane-travel related last-minute changes of plan forced on us by the airline. We're so sorry to anyone that was coming to the show, we would not have missed it if we had any choice. We hope you'll forgive us!

The tour starts tonight with our own headline show in sunny Los Angeles. We're gonna be doing video blogs and updates across the tour so keep your eyes open for those. You can see all our US dates on our MySpace HERE. Here we are...

It's election day over in the UK so vote wisely my friends. I've written a Blog HERE about my mixed feelings about not being over in the UK and my thoughts on the whole matter. I've opened up the floor for questions so if anyone has any queries that they've ever wanted to put across to us or me then bang them over to barney@sonicboomsix.co.uk and I'll do my best to answer them. I've already had a few corkers and I'm sure they'll be more so keep em coming!

Speaking of the UK, we've got some shows dotted about the next few months and we're hopefully gonna keep up the writing and revamping of the new stuff and songs across the shows. On July 16th we'll be playing at The Borderline in London with the stellar line-up of Moral Dilemma, Mike TV and Gecko in support! Nice and varied there. Remember, last time we played London the show sold right out so best to buy in advance for this one homies. Here's the event right HERE.

And finally! The proverbial chipmunk on a jetski in this particular news report is none other than the Ben Childs UK tour! That's right, our ex-guitarist and all-round Boomer Ben Childs is going to be making his way round our sceptered isle this June with none other than our pal Mike Scott promoting their split EP. Check out the dates at Ben's MySpace and a load of tunage HERE. Expect acoustic folk, punk and fiddles! Adam Dalton will be proud!

Righty ho. Let us know what you're saying my people!
